Access to Eye Care is a Crisis
Thousands in our community suffer from preventable vision loss and can’t get the timely care they need. Financial hardships, high demand for surgeons and surgical suites, and limited access to specialists cause many patients to wait six months or more for treatment.
The Access Solution
Pacific Vision Foundation brings together three mission-driven entities under one roof to help deliver sight-saving care to those in need.
- The Lions Eye Foundation Eye Clinic. underserved patients are examined, supported, and referred for surgical care
- CPMC Department of Ophthalmology provides hands-on surgical training to residents delivering this sight-saving care to patients that cannot afford it.
- Pacific Vision Surgery Center our state-of-the-art ambulatory eye surgery center delivers the highest standard of care to all.
Pacific Vision Foundation is the funding body behind the Pacific Vision Eye Institute that houses these three organizations and many more private practices in optometry and ophthalmology.
