The Barkan Society

Established in 1984, the Barkan Society is affiliated with California Pacific Medical Center Department of Ophthalmology. Pacific Vision Foundation supports educational and research activities within the California Pacific Medical Center Department of Ophthalmology. Research results are presented at the Barkan Research Symposium at the end of each academic year. This meeting is held in June in the San Francisco Bay Area and is hosted by Pacific Vision Foundation. During the year preceding each Symposium, each resident develops, executes, and prepares a new project.
