The institute is home to the CPMC Department of Ophthalmology Residency program, attracting some of the brightest young ophthalmologists from around the world. Through this program, residents have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most respected experts in the field, gaining valuable experience and knowledge.

In addition to their commitment to medical education, the Pacific Vision Eye Institute is also deeply committed to community service. PVEI houses the Lion’s Eye Clinic, providing sight-saving surgical care to members in our community who cannot otherwise afford it.
