Mireaya’s Story
For 65-year-old Mireya, the prospect of clearer vision brought her from San Jose to the Pacific Vision Surgery Center (PVSC) in San Francisco. Her journey, supported by the Lions Club and dedicated medical professionals, resulted in a successful cataract surgery that restored her sight and transformed her life.
Mireya’s vision had been clouded by a cataract in her left eye, a condition that severely impacted her daily activities. Her journey to PVSC began with a referral from her doctor, who recognized the need for specialized care and connected her with the Lions Club’s foundation.
Dr. Tayyeba K. Ali, a skilled ophthalmologist at PVSC, performed the procedure known for its precision and effectiveness in restoring clear vision.
I found out from my doctor about the glasses and received a check-up through the Lions Eye Foundation. I am very happy and satisfied with their excellent service and performance.
Mireya expressed her gratitude for the coordinated care she received.
The surgery was a resounding success, significantly improving Mireya’s vision. This newfound clarity has allowed her to return to her daily activities with ease and confidence, enhancing her overall quality of life.
PVSC, in collaboration with the Lions Club, ensures that patients like Mireya receive the best possible care regardless of their financial situation. This partnership exemplifies the impact of community support and dedicated medical services.
